100% cotton flannel, but I was not shopping for a flannel gown..
It is beautifully made & a great weight of flannel.
I gave it one star for the lack of description.

Cheap ITCHY
I bought the same nightgown 2 weeks ago. Delightful. Bought a second one and it is an itchy cheap piece of trash that fits very tightly through the sleeves. The rest fits fine, but the sleeves are tight enough to cut your circulation off. If you buy it, plan on scratching all night and putting it new elastic in the sleeves or throwing it in the garbage can. Reduced the sleeve size to where the elastic is very tight. Quality zero!
