Nice Jeans, Big Size Difference

I love the look and feel of these jeans, hopefully I can find the right fit. The Small was too tight in the waist; the Medium was overall too large. The difference between sizes is 3”, which is a lot. For reference, I’m 5’5”, 158 pounds and carry my weight in the midsection. If the PM doesn’t work out, I’ll have to give up.

I was excited to buy this but it’s just huge! Sometimes a medium in the EF jeans feels too tight on the waistband but this medium felt like I was swimming in it. It felt shapeless. Returned it.
