My new favorite summer shoe!
I bought the 5.5 and it fits perfectly. The height is just right that is so comfortable I wore it dancing in a very casual setting.

Uncomfortable
Really good looking shoes. Really uncomfortable. The strap is too far forward on the foot. When I tried to walk it cut painfully across the top of my foot. Plus I had to curl my toes to keep the shoes on. I have a narrow and thin foot (from the arch to the top of my foot)so maybe they would fit someone else differently. Josef Seibel made a similar style last year and I bought that shoe in blue. So so comfortable. However when I went back to buy the same shoe in black this year they were sold out so I thought I’d try this shoe. But I sent them back. The search continues…

love them but disappointing fraying
So I’m a 9. I bought these in an 8.5 even though they felt tight and were a little short because I have had experience with fabric shoes stretching. Well, stretch they did! You can see in the pics that my foot definitely isn’t at the end anymore and comes out the top a pretty good ways. But I’m fine with that. What’s sad is the way the straw?, jute? around the platform is fraying. I tried gluing it down with super glue but it came up again. It’s just not a great look, you know? But the shoes are super comfy.
