Dislike with a passion
I don’t understand why this lightweight Ponte pants can’t be renamed something else because it is nothing like the original ponte pants i fell madly in love with that holds up so well and is made of different fabric composition. Six months after purchase and three wears later my finger nail snagged these pants. I dislike it with a passion and ordered it because I thought it would be same as labeled ‘Ponte’ but lighter; no it’s made with 28% polyamid and the other with nylon (and not the polyamid). So confusing and disappointing; and as if sizing wasn’t already a challenge enough….I need to check fabric composition!

Heavy Fabric. Style Too Wide
EF has been making too many pants with very wide legs. They are not flattering. The fabric of these pants is heavy. Winter would be the only month to wear them. Furthermore, EF has raised prices considerably.

Flattering wide leg knit pants
I had been looking for a pair of black knit pants to kick around in. Saw these and based on the reviews decided to try them. Totally agree with another reviewer about these pants being more flowy and flattering than other wide leg pants. The material is substantial, but not too hot. Highly recommend!

Beware - these are cropped, ankle length
I originally bought petite sized pants for my 5’2” height. They hit about 1-2” above my ankle bone. I prefer longer length pants and exchanged for Regular length pants which hit just at the laces of my sneakers. Nice “lighter” weight than the regular weight/dense ponte knit pant. Fabric very smooth and I could see how some people might complain they “snag” easily. Will wash them inside out in a laundry bag to protect fabric. I’ve got the post-menopausal “belly” and need some extra give in the waistband. The Petite Large, while too short for my liking was comfortable around waist and hips. I ended up sizing down to a Medium in the Regular sized version of this pant and while the waistband was a bit snugger, it was still comfortable.
