Perfect Fall and Winter Pants

Very expensive but absolutely lovely pants. The wool is very soft and not at all itchy, which is indicative of using good quality wool. I was concerned about how the pleats would look based on another reviewer's comments, but they are incredibly flattering on. These do run a little larger in the body than EF pants typically do; if the waist was just a tad looser I would reorder in a small. But they are not baggy and definitely don't make me look bigger. Very happy I splurged on these. These are classy, elegant and can be worn for casual or dressed up.

So lovely but beware dry cleaning

I was so excited to get these. They’re so flattering. On the very first time to the dry cleaner they shrunk like 3” in length. No longer wearable. Such a disappointment.

I love these

I read the reviews that flagged the pouchiness created by the front pleats, and that does happen, but I think as the pants wear in, that pouchiness will soften. I plant to wear these for casual, hiking, and dress.

The best ever!

I live in Alaska. I live in wool most of the year. These lantern pants are my uniform. I bought them on sale. Elegant work horse clothing. Literally wore the last pair out. Mending them for cabin days. I have had good luck hand washing. Fingers crossed with this brand new pair!

My absolute favorite pant

The lantern cut is my favorite style pant across EF fabrics. This style can be dressed up or down, worn with flats, combat boots, or oxfords. For the winter, though, nothing beats this felted wool jersey fabric. I really appreciate the styling options, too. It would have never crossed my mind to roll up at the ankles. (Especially great with combat boots.) Thanks, EF, for keeping some favorites around.
