better than it looks
the real thing far exceeds the photo: I thought it would be big and “sloppy” but it is a marvelous sweater. Love the fit and feel. Purchased in black and i will get a lot of wear out of it; can easily dress up or down. I’d buy it in biscuit as well, but that color won’t suit me

Disappointed with several aspects. Fabric too rough and stiff, definitely not flowing. Cut is too wide and loose. It’s boxy, too wide beyond any perceivable proportion to the length, simply unflattering, unless it’s designed for large sizes.

Comfortable sweater
This is a great quality sweater. Soft cotton. Great cut. Wish it came in more colors. I usually wear a small but got xsmall because it looked wide. That worked for me, and still pretty roomy. But it is a lot shorter on me than 5he model. I am 5’5”. Hip length on me. Really like it. More on the everyday wear side of things than a more polished look, IMO. Pairs well with crepe slim pants. I have the redwood colored pants and the cit of this black sweater looks great with them.
