Organic Linen Scoop Neck Sleeveless Shift Dress

This dress is 100% linen and I will wear it in the summers to stay cool. But in looking over the new items in the EF line I am so saddened that almost everything has some sort of cheap, heavy synthetic blended with the natural fibers like cotton and wool and silk. My closet is almost nothing but EF and I have loved her clothes for decades, but I can see the handwriting on the wall that there will be fewer and fewer pieces that are entirely the natural fibers I love. And they still have the same high prices! I have been more than willing to pay for the exquisite fabrics from past seasons, but I can get the latest stuff at a big box store so I’ll not waste money here any more.

Bought this in anticipation of another super hot summer. Summers are getting hotter each year. I have several of EF tee shirt dresses that I automatically grab on a regular basis to stay cool. I’m hoping this dress will do the same. I have several tops made from this fabric and really like the wash and hang to dry ease of care. I do wish there were more colors to choose from, so perhaps with spring coming we will see more of this style or with cap sleeves.
