The top is of nice proportionns open collar side slits to be worn with slim pant or legings. And very worm. Unfortunately for me it did not do I had to return it

I am disappointed, again, at EF’s decline in quality. I have been purchasing Eileen Fisher items for about 30 years. The items I purchased many years ago were of much higher quality than those I’ve purchased in the past few years. I guess the company thinks they can coast on their name & past reputation, and crank out pieces of junk, while still charging high prices. I just received this top, and although it is new with the tags attached, it looks worn & shabby. The color of black is faded; not saturated. There is fuzziness on the surface of the fabric, but in a way that looks like it’s not supposed to be that way. It’s is also covered with lint & fibers; not sure if they’re from the EF factory or from Nordstrom’s floor. The fabric is of inferior quality, does not lay/drape nicely. I have other EF pieces with same fiber content as this one, from a few years ago, that look & feel better than this one. I love the style, but out of principle I must return this top. I don’t think I would even waste the $ on it if it was on sale.

Really like with some reservations
I love the style and length of the top, but it does not hold its color when washed, which is disappointing. I do really like the top, so I wish it was available in a more colorfast fabric and in more colors.

Lots of Lint and Fading
I have only worn this top a few times because I know the material tends to fade and it always looks like it is full of lint. I will no longer buy Cozy Brushed Terry even though I love the feel of the fabric. Just does not stand up like most EF clothing--even the pants/leggings are fine--it is just the tops in black.

Terrible Quality
Super disappointed the quality of this shirt. After first wash in cold water, color faded and it now looks like something that years old.
Sad to see how Eileen Fisher no longer make good quality clothing.

Fabric does not last
The cozy brushed terry fabric does not last. It doesn't stay black, it pills, it generates excessive lint, and becomes thin and lifeless after a few washes. This year's is the worst. Definitely not buying this fabric again.

Great top until you wash it!
I absolutely loved this top and then I washed it and it faded so badly it looks terrible! It looks like a cheap top from a discount retailer. I own a lot of Eileen Fisher pieces but the quality lately is definitely questionable. Certainly not worth $178!!
