The worst item of clothing I have ever purchased
I bought this coat for a very recent two week trip to France, which included days that it would be rainy. The description of this coat specifically mentions that it keeps you warm in dry and wet conditions. On our second day in Paris, it rained. We had umbrellas, but my coat was still subjected to rain. Needles to say, this coat seemed to absorb every bit of moisture that it could and I was drenched to the core. Everything I was wearing underneath the coat was completely saturated. I took over two days for the coat itself to dry. Aside from its complete failure to protect me from rain and moisture, the top button repeatedly popped open. Other buttons did the same, but not as often as the top button. Just about my complete travel wardrobe is Eileen Fisher, so I have had a lot of experience with this brand. The coat did fairly well keeping me warm in dry conditions, but definitely not with any moisture, which rendered the coat virtually useless. This coat is not fit for what it is advertised. Nordtrom should discontinue this coat altogether.

Winter coat
The style of the coat is great but the snap closures do not stay closed . Thus, It is not feasible to use as a winter coat.

Nice design, but no longer down.
I bought this thinking that it was the same as a very similar looking coat that I have in a larger size. Mine is an older model, and is down. I realized that this is synthetic. I just didn’t feel it would be warm enough, so I returned it. Please bring back down products.
