Crinkled Satin Dress

OK Eileen, us GenXers are aging and have menopause bodies but will never not be cool. This is the first EF dress that I've seen that wasn't frumpy. Travel with this baby, she's versatile as heck! Black Doc Martins and Levi's Denim jacket for the club. Blazer and heels for work. Tory Burch flip flops and bright scarf for the beach. Boots and grampa sweater for winter. The V neck keeps it from being frumpy and the cap sleeves keep you covered for work meetings. I did NOT size down as I thought was the usual thing for EF. Go regular size. Not cheap but you'll get endless use of of her. May buy the other colors!

I really like this dress. I bought my normal size of L. I saw other reviews about it being tight in the chest and it is a bit when getting into the dress, but once on it was fine. I like how this falls when loose but it looks great with the EF obi wrap belt as well. I have a “ vintage” EF cardigan sweater with a peplum back that looks great worn over this. I also tried a cropped sweater worn over when belted and it looks like a skirt. When traveling this is going to be one versatile piece to wear casually with boots and denim, or dressed up for an evening out. Especially great as I purchased on sale!.
