Sweater Shedding!

Something wrong with this sweater! It sheds hundreds of navy blue fuzz balls! The picture shows a tiny fraction of what came off this sweater. Much more was vacuumed up, and then I tried to wash it according to instructions and it disintegrated further. I hope I can get my money back
