Long Wool Cardigan

Love this sweater. I expected it to be heavier and maybe even scratchy based on some reviews. It is so soft! I love the fabric. I’m a bit concerned about the slash pockets getting stretched out, so I make sure to only put a tissue or lipstick in them. Based on sizing recommendations from other reviews, I took a chance and ordered the xs. Glad I did. I’m 5’4” 137 lbs it fits perfect and can be dressed up or down.

This cardigan is uniquely sophisticated and beautiful! I love it and look forward to pairing it was everything this fall and winter.

My wardrobe is 50% EF and I always love a EF cardigan so I snatched this one up quickly. Unfortunately it was disappointing in every way. The fabric quality was subpar. In past years EF felted wool was a nice weight, consistent in felting and didn't pill. This fabric was very thin, it looked worn, was close to pilling and was inconsistent in texture. The design is sloppy, the neckline too big and no interesting seams. I realize that costs must be cut; but it would be awesome if you would provide a few options every year of higher quality items with the price to match - better fabric, fitted shoulders, some interesting seams/finishes. Something that will last and still look incredible in a decade, like the EF clothing from a decade ago.

This is actually nicer than I thought it would be. It’s going to be a great alternative to a light jacket for the fall. Fits true to size.

Nice wool and quality. The fit is not flattering for smaller person. The sleeves are too wide as is the body of the sweater. Wish it were a generous but straighter shape. Might work for larger size person. I really wanted it to work out for me as I want a long boxy cardigan with raglan sleeves but just not so wide (rounded) in sleeves and body.

I was so excited to see this on the website. I purchased Maritime, and the color is gorgeous. However, it is itchy. I am wondering if felting the merino made it like this. Unfortunately I will be returning this.
