Overall excellent boot that is versatile and warm
I bought these boots for a trip to Norway, a part of which is an expedition to the Arctic. I needed one shoe that is warm, waterproof and which I can wear with jeans, leggings and a skirt. I was not sure when I got them because they seemed a bit narrow with warm socks but once I wore them a couple of times, I found them to relax and conform to my foot. They are warm and really comfortable with good arch support so I haven’t even put in my own orthotics. They are also completely waterproof so on cold wet days my feet are toasty and dry. I think I found the right shoe for my upcoming trip and am very happy with the style and overall look of the bootie. Feminine but practical and versatile all at the same time.

Cute, cheap
Bought these shoes and loved them for about 10 days- got about 10 compliments on them too. Super cute! Then the sole of the left shoe started peeling back (see photos). These shoes were WAY too pricey to be made this cheaply. I bought them for a trip out of the country, so really hoping to be able to return when I get home.

Cute, cheap

very narrow
Wanted to love these shoes but they were too narrow, shocking because my feet as pretty narrow as well. Very cute shoe, great quality, love the style. So bummed they didn’t fit. Also size up, they ran small.

Gorgeous but too narrow
I wanted to love these shoes. They are lightweight, gorgeous, easy to get on, love the gore-Tex and the treads on the soles that would help with slippery surfaces. However, I have never tried on a narrower pair of shoes and had to return these. I ordered half a size up and had plenty of toe room but these were painful and left red marks the 1-2 minutes that they were on.

Relace these for comfortable fit
As many folks have mentioned there is a tightness around the toebox that makes these challenging to wear with thicker socks even though I sized up the length was fine, plenty long but still pressed on my beginner bunion. One solution I figured out was to take out the original laces (which will not stay laced) and relace the others that come with the boots without the top two holes being laced. that allows me to tighten in the middle while keeping it loose around the toebox I’m now enjoying them and breaking them in well.

Style And Comfort
These are very cute and comfortable boots. For me, Ecco shoe size depends on the style of boot or shoe and in this case I needed to size up to a 40. The 39 fit very small with the fleece lining. Even with the size 40, I will wear a thinner sock (size 41 was sold out). Also the zipper felt stiff at first, until I loosened the boot laces a bit. Ecco includes a second set of laces, so you can choose the look that works for you. This is a great boot for winter wear.
