Soft 7 Sneaker

This is a strange one because I’ve tried on other colors (same style) and the leather was soft so I ordered this one online. The black leather was extremely stiff and dug into my toes when I walked (the width is fine but overall toe box height was too small). I foolishly wore them a couple of times to work with thin socks and ended up with blisters on top of my toes. Disappointed and sad because I love ecco shoes but lately I’ve noticed changes to the toe box (another shoe I had in a slip on style had a similar issue). 3 stars are because the shoe itself looks nice with good craftsmanship.

These ECCO sneakers look much better in person. I bought the “heavy silver” color, which looks like a charcoal gray to me. It has a nice sheen, but not too shiny. The etching on the side seems more subtle in person to me. Have yet to wear, but they seem to be true to size. The Nordstrom clerk advised me that they’d stretch in width but not length.

I've had a couple of Ecco Soft 7s that have been comfortable right out the box, but these were incredibly stiff and narrow. I found they ran true to size, but they hurt my feet. The white gold leather is very pretty and the shoe is well constructed, but I had to return these. I wasn't sure if they'd break in and didn't want to go through the pain of breaking them in.

I’m returning them because something where the stitches meet the toe rubs and bothers me.

This is the most comfortable walking shoe I own. I need to get additional colors. I stood all day in these shoes and my feet did not get tired. They can be worn with dresses and still look stylish, not clunky. The first day I wore them they were comfortable so I did not need to break them in. I highly recommend these shoes.

The workmanship was poor, which was a bummer. The left side fit perfectly while the right side felt like a whole size larger.
