Zipper ruins the boot
I love the look of the boot, and the traction of the sole, and was so happy to find them in a true 42 EU (US 11.5). However, the cheap, low-quality zipper ruins the boot on the tan leather boot. Flip through the photos of the boot at all angles and take my word for it, the zipper looks worse in person. The same style zipper is used on boots $100 less and makes the boots look like something you might find at a run of the mill chain store. If ECCO would have used an upgraded metal zipper, I would have kept these. Maybe the zipper isn't so obvious for the black leather, but on the tan it looks really, really cheap.

Very comfortable booties!
I love Ecco shoes for their comfort added in and these booties are amazing! Size down one size IF you have petite feet (length and width wise). I am generally size 5 and sized down to 4. Love the almond toe shape for lengthening, leather is very soft, no breaking in whatsoever, and most importantly very comfortable cushion. It's just a perfect, effortless no frills bootie!
