Modtray Chelsea Boot (Women)

I really, really love these boots. They were comfortable right away, I can dress them up or dress them down, and they are very well made. I also love the loop in the back (easy to get on and off) and love that there is NOT a loop in the front, which I think interferes with clothing sometimes. My only complaint is that there's a very visible white "section" that kind of ruins the all black look. The photos on the listing do NOT show it. See the photo (on the Nordstrom listing page) that shows the white part on the bottom? Well, that sort of "wraps around" a bit. I added some photos of my own. I'm kind of embracing it as an Ecco "signature" or cool kind of thing but I do wish it weren't there (or, that it would just be black).

Put these on for a quick trip to Portugal in December. My feet are very finicky and it’s difficult for me to find comfortable shoes that are stylish, but are not going to end up hobbling me after a few miles. 8 miles later, my feet were barely tired and still “happy.” Very impressive and I hope to put many more miles on them! My shoe size is a large 7.5 us or 38 euro and I found the 7-7.5 us/38 euro fit well (even a bit generous.)
