Penhaligon's is perhaps the world’s most esteemed fragrance house, with a rich heritage interlaced with British history, aristocracy and culture. This perfume is the closest to the infamous YSL Babycat perfume, BUT…. I personally think it is better. It opens pretty much the same, but isn’t so “in your face” as Babycat tends to be. The dry down is a tad bit sweeter too. It’s an absolute LOVE! This is what I was hoping Babycat would be (and for what it’s worth…I had a bottle of Babycat and sold it months prior to purchasing this perfume). If you can’t find Babycat, definitely get your nose on this gem!!

Feels on the heavy side.

If you can’t find Babycat….look no further!

Nice

Woody vanilla
Obviously being penhaligon's this fragrance screams quality. Its a delicious clean woodsy vanilla.on the dry down after a burst of citrus. I love the creamy smooth vanilla dry down. Its a stunning sweet fragrance to me, comforting that lingers deliciously.

Fun and unique

Mildly Complex
I love a complex fragrance. This one is true to the description and is a warm vanilla with incense that dries to a softer and more mild vanilla which is borderline floral. It strikes me as a fall and winter scent but I’ve been experimenting with it during the summer months as well. It has strong staying potential, like most Penhaligon fragrances so I can smell it on me at the end of the day. The bottle is large for the price. Quite a steal during the anniversary sale.
