Worse on skin
Sprayed on the sample paper and left the store, smelled it when I got back home and I loved it, it was such a wonderful inxtoxicating scent! Then I tested it on my skin the second time I was in store (just before I was going to purchase this) and it was so much worse- a lot heavier and sharper and not as sweet as on paper. Beginning to think diptyque isn't the fragrance house for me unfortunately

Fresh vanilla masterpiece
Iconic, easygoing, natural smelling, unisex, fresh vanilla. The opening is mildly spiced, with a breath of calamus and smoky Cypriol. The bourbon vanilla is sweet and natural. The ambroxan makes the EDP smell smoother and much nicer than the EDP.

light yet fragrant
I love this scent. In fact I love all diptyque scents. I have terrible allergies yet this perfume is so fragrant yet so light that it doesn’t trigger them. The scent is perfection. It could last longer but I don’t mind

Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau de Parfum
Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau de Parfum has a strong spicy vanilla scent and is a great alternative to the wide range of 'sweet' scents on the market, as it is less sickly and more on a spicier end. My only issue is that once it dries down to the lovely vanilla smell, the scent does not have much longevity and I had to reapply a few hours after.

Intense!
If you're looking for a vanilla with a twist this could be for you! Very spicy and heady, reminds me of incense though it leans too far into that for my taste. But if you're looking for a vanilla that isn't soft and sweet but still comforting this could be it.
