What it is: A limited-edition set featuring the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer in Vinca Blue. Fast drying. No extreme heat and precision styling.

What it does: Engineered for different hair types, this hair dryer is gentle on strands and helps reduce frizz. It comes with five styling attachments, including the Flyaway attachment.

THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION SINCE MAKEUP
To all the ladies reading this: the ones who are on the fence due to the price point, the skeptics of the tool’s power, the ones thinking “but my hair is curly, frizzy, unruly” - this note is for you. I purchased this yesterday and finally mustered up the energy to try it. I have curly, fine yet FRIZZY and DRY hair, coupled with hair extensions to help weigh my curls down and give me the length and volume I couldn’t dream of on my own. Normally, my hair takes about an hour to blow dry, and another 30 minutes to get it straight enough to look presentable to the world. It takes forever so my best friends in the bathroom have become dry shampoo and at the end of the week, high pony tail holders. I work a ton so I don’t have the option to spend so much time on my hair and I avoid it as much as humanly possible. But back to the Dyson Supersonic… HOLY CRAP. It’s real. EVERYYYTHING THEY SAID IS TRUE. My hair blow dryed to a spot I wanted it in about 15 minutes. My hairs texture feels like I just had a blowout. The shine I have misplaced for the last several years or feigned with oils is now back. And after using the precision tool (my new forever angel), I used the flyaway tool (HELLO WHO INVENTED THIS?!) and now I don’t even NEED to bust out my well utilized straightener. I’ve been looking to get my hair health back and now I know that this is it. Minimal heat, perfect shine, fast turnaround. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Happy blow drying!

Not for my hair..
I have fine, straight hair and found the dryer to have a strong blow function that of course made my hair dry faster. The blow is too strong for me even at the lowest setting. It's also heavy and bulky with the controls on top. I found I had to constantly set the dryer down on the counter to manipulate the controls. Lots of attachments that I would never use yet part of the cost. Returning....

Finally got it!
I have been on the fence about this dryer for years. Finally pulled the trigger and so happy I did! I have super long hair (sewn in extensions) and a lot of damage to my real hair. Blow drying usually takes forever (I’m talking around an hour). Now I can get it dry in about 20 mins. It closes the cuticle beautifully, creating a smooth and finished look. I only wash my hair about every 4-5 days and I use this in between to refresh. I’m so happy I finally splurged on this. Highly recommend!

unlike any other
Someone once said that all diffusers do the same thing, so I continued to use my cheap diffuser for a long time. WRONG! Although the results were acceptable, this is something else! A Mercedes Benz and a Honda do the same thing, don’t they? The quality is very apparent, so I now understand the price point. Although, my hubby gifted it to me for Christmas because I gave him a baby ☺️. My hair dries much faster, and the results are dreamy with minimal effort -for me, and I have long hair. I can’t speak for the other attachments yet because I own an elchim 3900 that I plan to use for my blowouts until it’s no more. Also, to preserve this Dyson beauty. Now, to address the comments about the “extreme heat at low,” false. Again, because of the quality, you’re getting what it says… low heat. My cheaper diffuser’s low heat setting was boarder line off with cool air, so yes, it will feel like what it claims it does provides “low heat.” I looked up many articles to see if this dryer was “worth it,” and it 100% is. It’s a splurge but an investment. It’s worth purchasing or saving for if you’ll be using it often. Happy hair day, beauties! 💞 These photos are from the first use after blowing out my hair for 4.5 months straight and no haircut in between. I did not coil my hair and used only one hair cream product.

Broke after 5 months!!!
My Dyson blowdryer stopped working after 5 months!!! Dyson refuses to replace or repair because I took the tag off of it!!

Disappointed
Really wanted to like this dryer. The first time I used it was ok but with each subsequent use it really over dried my hair, I have highlights and after a few uses my hair felt like straw. I went back to my old dryer and my hair felt great. There was a lot of power and the noise was not bad, I tried to love it but it just didn’t work for me.
