Worked well for 2 years
Loved the design of this desk lamp and was really happy with it. Alas, had problems with the lamp turning off even when I was reading and this went on for a few weeks. Now stopped working completely. Very dissappointed with Dyson as expected a product that would last a lot longer for the price paid!

Hard to return - several return request forms sent
Hi, longer than 10 days passed since I submitted the return request. No respond at all. Submitted 2nd return from 7 days after first one, still no respond. Submitted another one after 11 days. Not much time left for 30 days return window.

Beautiful and functional but ........
I love this light for all the right reasons from its sensitivity when i come back to my office to its ability to change colour and intensity throughout the day. Its perfect .... but .... the controlling app is useless. Not because it doesn't do what it is supposed to but because it constantly disconnects to the extent know that I don't even bother. Perhaps you guys should stick to designing beautiful and functional things and leave the apps to the 14 year olds. Otherwise ... best thing I have ever purchased from dyson and will probably get another one.

Keeps shutting down!!
Has anyone figured out why the light shuts off randomly and keeps shutting off even after you turn it back on? This is the most frustrating experience!!! I’m actually typing this in the dark now.

Glad I Purchased the Lamp.
I debated several months as to whether or not to purchase this lamp. It is a significant investment. (That means expensive!). However, I have several other Dyson products and decided to go ahead with the purchase.
I am more pleased with the product that I had hoped and glad I purchased it. It fits my area perfectly. I appreciate and use the wide variety of options in terms of movement up, down, back and forth, and around of the lamp. I like the lamp light and its adjustments.
I wasn't all the interested in the bluetooth connection and adjustment. I thought it was more of a gimmick. Initially I had trouble connecting the lamp. I already had the Dyson app and had another appliance connected. I had to uninstall the app, reinstall it, and then connect the lamp without the other appliance connected. That was fine as I didn't use the Bluetooth features on that appliance anyway.
I was surprised by how effective the auto features are. I am glad I took the time to connect it via Bluetooth.
