Jazmin Yucatan Eau de Parfum

Incredible ! Originally sampled this at another retailer, as I was hesitant to blind buy. This is a jasmine that is easily wearable by men and women a like. This is not your typical bouquet of synthetic jasmine that EVERY brand seems to push (like the one that your grandma would wear!) Jazmin Yucatan is a warm, wet, lush and green jasmine, like you just stepped out of the jungle and crushed some fresh Jasmine and rubbed it on your skin. This Is a beautiful summery scent that has me drawn in and intoxicated at every smell. Definitely worth the price.

I got the floral sampler from the brand's website which includes this, Cristal Pistil, DS and Durga. Sadly, this and Cristal Pistil lasted the shortest...at most, 4 hours and that's with liberal application. I don't think I'd buy a full bottle because it's too indolic for my taste and the least liked of the four. I much prefer DS and Durga, the latter being more wearable. DS is very unique and might not be everyone's cup of tea.

This was a blind purchase out of sheer curiosity (the brand intrigues me and I'm a fan of jasmine), and thank goodness it is lovely. This isn’t a heavy or old-fashioned jasmine fragrance - though it leans more to the sweet than the fresh, it is pleasant and youthful. It is however less complex than the description would have you believe, and on me it doesn’t develop - I'm still getting the same whiffs two hours later than I did upon first application. The smaller size comes in a roll on packaging which I also had to reapply several times to get the intensity that I wanted (I’m not for strong fragrances but it does go on very, very subtly.) May be more interesting layered with a fresher scent, such as Le Labo's Another 13. Pleased with my purchase (and, dare I say, happy I didn’t invest in a bigger bottle.)
