Great for Northcoast and NYC
I bought this to replace an older NorthFace I had for 10 years. This is comfortable, warm, and easy to carry when traveling. I first wore it in NYC in January. It was perfect to block wind and keep me warm. I love the layers that can remove the inner insulated jacket for mild weather and still have a rainshell.

zipper needs to be changed to work right
It is fairly light weight and decently warm even in temps well below freezing. The only thing I don't like is the shell isn't compatible with other liners like it says it is. It's a different zipper.

reasonably comfortable but lightweight almost delicate fabric is not my idea of sturdy. also would be better if there were more inside and outside pockets.
