What it is: A set of two blemish-fighting products from Mario Badescu that are fast-acting, effective spot solutions to help treat acne.

Set includes:

- Full-size Drying Lotion (1 oz.): A beloved and famous drying lotion that helps heal and dry surface pimples or whiteheads overnight. This best-selling formula contains a concentrated blend of calamine, salicylic acid and quick-acting ingredients.

- Drying Patches (60 patches): A pack of exfoliating patches that camouflage skin and allow you to target blemishes while on the go.

How to use: Use the drying lotion at night, after cleansing and toning. Dip a cotton swab into the pink sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Dab directly on the surface blemish. Do not rub it in. Do not dip the same cotton swab into the bottle again. Let spot dry and rinse off in the morning. Do not use on broken skin. To apply a drying patch, cleanse and dry skin. Peel patch off sheet and apply adhesive side down to the affected area. Press gently and allow patch to remain in place throughout the day or night for optimal results. Do not apply makeup or any other topical product over the patch. Do not use on broken skin.

caused chemical burn
at first I love this product…and then a few days later I noticed a burn on my face where my pimple once was. I went to my dermatologist and sure enough this product had caused a burn on my skin. I did not use any other active ingredients while using this product and hadn’t changed anything in my routine other than adding this in. If I could give this a negative rating I would.

I had read about the
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had read about the drying lotion for years but just decided to try it. It works just as described. Combined with the drying patch during the day and drying lotion over night, my break out went away quickly. It draws out impurities and helps the surrounding skin heal faster. Drying lotion is only for spot treatment, not a wider area of skin. Very impressed and will buy again.
