What it is: A super-compact detailing iron that allows you to touchup hard-to-reach roots, bangs and flyaways at home or on the go.
What it does: It's designed with titanium plates that use negative ions to seal the cuticle, resulting in less frizz and tons of shine. It heats up to 400°F (or 204°C) and features universal voltage for overseas travel. It comes with a heat-resistant travel pouch that doubles as a heat protection pad and tucks nicely into the smallest handbag.
How to use: Work in 1-2 inch cleanly parted sections. Brush each section through with your detangler brush. Clamp the iron over the section and slowly pull through to the ends, slightly beveling toward the face to prevent static.

Great for very short hair
I recently cut my hair very short and it was difficult to get close to the root with a regular flat iron. I saw this in a magazine so I thought I would try it. Works great on very short hair and it gets close to the root without burning the scalp. I was surprised at how small it is but it does the job.

Not worth it
Not worth it. Returned the item back. Poor quality and didn't work well - ordered to just use on the tiny hairs around the crown of my head and didn't even straighten them. Wouldn't recommend.

Tiny really means tiny!
I am not super experienced with small-scale flat irons, but this guy is truly meant for touch-ups, not really travel. The whole unit measures about 6" X 3/4" (not including cord and cord mount). However the plates are only 1/2"W X 2& 1/2" long. So detailing, yes- I guess bangs?- but you'd be at it a while to do a whole head in your hotel room. No heat settings. I thought this would be a good one for travel, but really, it needs a USB so you can use it in the car for a touch-up if that's all it is meant for. I might shop around to check other options to take along.

disappointing
I love all my cry at appliances. I use them everyday and they’re always rated 5 star. This however is too small, too hard to hold because of how small it is. The blade that heats up is also too short, it is so light weight there is nothing to grab the hair and place some weight on it to keep it from rolling right off.
The 3 star it received is for the temples. It’s good for the hard to straighten without burning the sides of the face areas such as the temples.

Great for Touchups!
I just ran across this mini iron last weekend and love it! It warms up quickly and does a fantastic job on my short hair. I would not use it on my entire head because it would take too long but for next day touchups it's perfect. The best part about it is the way I can really grab the fly aways on the back of my head because of the size. Highly recommend to tame bangs and touchups. It's small enough to whip into a larger size purse and carry along. I look forward to trying it out on my next trip overseas.
