What it is: A super-absorbent dry shampoo that eliminates oils and impurities, leaving hair looking and feeling clean and refreshed.
What it does: This formula leaves hair with extra volume and a matte finish. Its mineral pigments conceal grey roots between colorings, too. Microfine rice powders absorb excess oils and odors. As they absorb, they become translucent to naturally blend with all hair colors and expand to provide lift in the roots. Golden root extract increases moisture to prevent dryness and breakage. It features the brand's Original fragrance with notes of jasmine, sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla.
How to use: Shake extremely well. Spray onto roots 4–6 inches away from the scalp. Allow to dry then gently rub in and brush through. Wash your hands after use. Avoid contact with light-colored hair and clothing.

I wanted to try dry bar’s tinted dry shampoo as I usually use bumble and bumble’s. I like it! It also will be able to pass TSA being 3.5 oz. Have only used it a few times but so far so good! Please don’t discontinue!!!!! I have some thin hair spot areas and it’s great. Like the scent too.

disappointed
I'm so sorry to have to provide a bad review, but I hope it can be helpful for someone. I purchased this, on the recommendation of a friend. In fact, my friend recommended the regular dry shampoo, not the one for brunettes, and perhaps that would be better, but I was very disappointed to find that this left a dark residue. It actually did cover my grays VERY well, but whenever I would put my hands in my hair, even hours after I had gotten ready, my finger tips always were always stained. It did wash off with water, but very disappointing. I also felt like my hair had hair spray, stiff, even after brushing the product through. I will be returning

Take Caution First Time, Then Brilliant!
Somewhat mixed feelings initially, as I love drybar products and at the end of the day, loved the smell and end result of product. It's the first time I've used dry shampoo specifically for brunettes (but tried just about every other dry shampoo) and I just felt like I needed a dislclaimer before using.
The nozzle changed my finger brown and a bit of my ear that got caught in my misfire. However, after the first time, I got the hang of it and consider it more like spray paint, conscious of my surroundings and prepared to wash up a bit.
In the end, the fragrance is delightful and it was nice to get the freshened up feeling of dry shampoo while color correcting a bit, especially amidst the safer at home days this spring when I couldn't get to my colorist. I'll definitely use again and like it, but just want you to be warned the first time you use it.

Yuck
I went into the store to buy the Triple Sec and I saw this and thought it might be better. Well, I was wrong. It's very heavy and made my hair flat. Also, the brown tint gets all over (I mis-sprayed and had an instant brown arm) and if you run your fingers through your hair any time after using this, your fingers become dirty and it gets under your nails. I returned it to try the Triple Sec instead.

Awful.
Do not waste your money! The powedery brown residue is simply terrible. I have tried using only a tiny bit, and it still ends up on my finger tips and pillow at night. The description even says avoid light colored clothing. What??? Then make a better product, Drybar.

Made my hair feel nasty
I gave the regular dry shampoo a 5-star review. This stuff though? AWFUL. My hair feels so nasty, it's always tangled, and I have to shampoo my hair 3+ times to get it out. I only tried it because they were out of the regular dry shampoo. I will go to a drug store before buying this again, though.

Brown residue all day long
I went to Nordstrom knowing that I was going to pick up the detox dry shampoo but when I saw that there was one for brunettes I decide to give it a try. Well, I will definitely be returning this product. The difference between the original detox and the brunette detox is so noticeable. Yes it doesn't leave your brunette hair with that gray/white powdered but it leaves the worst residue even hours after you apply it. Even if you just lightly touch your roots throughout the day you will get brown stains on your hand. Not cute. I will be returning and purchasing the original.
