Natalie Sequin Long Sleeve Dress

I love this brand and it’s the first I look at when I need an occasion dress. The color is beautiful. Exactly what I wanted. That’s where the good things I have to say end. The sequins around the seams don’t lay flat and you can even see on the model a bunch are going the wrong direction. You’d be messing with the sequins constantly to keep them all uniform. Around the seams it just looks cheap and unfinished. The style also didn’t work for me. I knew the shoulder pads were a risk but they looked absurd. Maybe could work on a more petite woman but if you have even a remotely athletic build you’ll look ridiculous. If after all this you still want to try it, like all dresses from this brand a size up was the proper fit.

I bought this dress for a dance event. I have to agree with the one review the fabric looks downright weird. The reflection in the picture look like light but its not. I can't justify paying $264 for a dress that looks like its been chewed on by moths. Sorry that's harsh I know. The fit is true to size and I own several Dress the Population dresses, but this one has to go back. Maybe they were going for a "certain look" but messy is not a choice for me. Loved the colors though.
