Faxon Loafer

These flats are fantastically comfortable and great quality leather! The fit is slightly big, but that’s ok as I plan to be standing in them for hours and hours, which causes foot swelling. The leopard print is beautiful and snazzes up my otherwise colorless outfits (black and neutrals).

I ordered a size 7 and a 7 1/2. They arrived in two completely different colors. Unfortunately, the size that fit the best was not the advertised color. Sadly returned both pair.

I bought these in the snakeskin design. First, they are really comfortable! I am an 8 or an 8 1/2 in some shoes, the 8 fit perfectly. They are very stylish and perfect for work, wearing with black dress slacks or leggings.

I have been wanting a pair of leopard print loafers for a long time and I finally found these. I normally wear a 9.5 and found them true to size for my foot. I have a normal width that runs more narrow in the heel and wider on the forefoot. The point in toes were not too tight for my slight hammer toes. I love the removable insert and inside the heel cup of the shoe has two small, cushioned pillows - one on each side to keep the shoe from slipping. I also have a moderately high instep which makes flats unbearable but the heel on this Dr. Scholl’s Faxon Loafer makes it perfect for me. HOWEVER, I am extremely disappointed to have to return them because of the horrific odor! I put them in my closet and my closet began to smell. Each room I put them in took on this order like mildew. Finally putting them in the garage to hopefully air out but they even made my garage smell! I took them back and ordered another pair but the second pair smells too. Please fix the odor issue and I will be happy to purchase again.

Dr Scholls are iffy with fit. The length was accurate, but the width was snug. I simply must have arch support and these fell short. But before I got far enough to really all this, I was taken aback by the lack of subtlety. If you want ‘Hey!Look at my feet!’ These are for you. If not, move on.

I love these shoes so much I'm actually back buying another pair! I stand and walk a lot at work, but interact with clients as well and need to look professional. These are sharp, flattering, look much more expensive than they are, and they are so comfortable! No breaking in required. I wear an 8 and have slightly wide feet, and I found them to run true to size. You definitely want some sock liners to avoid rubbing or sticking (or sweating), but I prefer to wear those anyway.
