Cool combat boot look
At the current sale price, these boots are an excellent buy. I bought the “green” leather, which look to my eyes like light taupe-grey. They are comfortable right out of the box, good looking in a versatile neutral tone, and much lighter weight than many combat boots. Because they are lightweight boots with stretchy fabric on the sides of the ankles, they are really a fashion boot, not a trail or work boot. The soles are siped or channeled rather than lugged, so not meant for all terrain traction, but they are thick enough to feel substantial, like they will hold up for a while. The boots have cushioned comfortable insoles, some welcome arch support, and as lace ups they adjust to handle my high arch, so they are great for walking around town, casual outings, and shopping. The stretchy fabric side panels are a departure from the ankle support in a regular combat boot that you might wear for hiking or aggressive walking, but the panels add a dimension of comfort and a tone-on-tone style point. The boots do run just slightly large. I wear a size 9 in dress shoes but a ten in athletic shoes and boots. I bought these in the size 10 and they are roomy, but not so much that I would exchange them. I think the 9.5 would be just a tad too close fitting. As a fashion+comfort combat boot, rather than a heavy use -functional combat boot, I give them 5 stars.

Uncomfortable Fit, Not Cute
I had to return these shoes as they are quite tight in the toe area. The soles aren’t that squishy, and the hard outer material really doesn’t allow for comfortable movement of the feet, either. Plus, these didn’t look as cute as I was hoping they would.

Comfortable and stylish
Love them !! I was afraid they wouldn’t look at trendy as the Dr Martens, but the exceeded my expectations they are super light weight and don’t give you the heavy bulky look! Recommend

Comfortable and lightweight
I love these boots for their out of the box comfort. They look like heavy boots yet are incredibly lightweight. The neoprene-like material on the sides of the boots add to the level of comfort, particularly if you’re lacing them tighter. They also look cute if your leave the laces loose giving that more relaxed look. The down side is I have a narrow heel and no matter how tight I laced them, my heel would end up slipping. I imagine I could put some heel-slipping accoutrement in there but I went with another boot. I’m a solid 8.5 and I found these to be slightly big but not enough to size down. They would work nice for a wider foot too. I am returning these but do recommend giving them a try. They are quite cute and comfortable.

Tan... not green
LOVE THESE! They are so comfortable and fit true to size. One thing to note- the green is NOT green. It is more of a tan and it is suede, not leather. Still a beautiful color and overall a great boot.

not quite what I was hoping for
Great looking boots but for me the size was too large and too wide. Also, the top of the boot was way too wide for someone like me with a narrow ankle...so I couldn't tie them tight enough to get a good fit.
