These boots do run larger so I do recommend you size down. I am around a 7 1/2 / 8 but I got a seven. The top, like the middle slope part of the boot, is really tough and takes a week or so to break in but they are really heavy duty boots so its worth it. I think they are really cute, I have skinnier legs that I am a bit insecure about but I don't think they make it look like a stick stuck in a boot if that makes sense. They are comfortable and fashionable. You can dress them up with a cute skirt or just jeans and it will be cute regardless.

Super cute, but...
The elastic failed at the top of the boot, on both shoes. Wore a few times and just had them broken in when elastic started unraveling. Returned.

Perfect shoes
I have waited so long to get these, and I wish I had gotten them sooner! They’re perfect Chelsea boots that you can style up or down, and they’re the quality you expect from Dr. Marten’s. That being said, so expect some breaking in period as with most Dr. Martin shoes, but that’s just the name of the game.
