Hyaluronic Marine Hydration Booster Serum

If it's hydration you want, use this. If you want your other skin care products to be more effective, use this. This isn't the only brand that uses this form of hyaluronic acid, but I like this one the best. It instantly makes my face hydrated and the other products I put on top sink in better. You can check out many articles on why hyaluronic acid is good for your skin and the benefit of helping what you put on top more effective. I use many Dr Gross products and wouldn't be without this. Used alone it's not enough "moisture" for my skin so I do use a moisturizer on top. But this isn't a moisturizer. It's a hydrator and there's a big difference between the two. Yes, it's pricey but you only need a few drops, seriously. LOVE IT!

I bought the product because the ingredients got a very good review on a website that reviews skincare products based on the efficacy of their ingredients. I've used it for about a week and like the product. I use it in the early evening, after I clean my face I put about 6-8 drops on my face. It feels good on my skin. Before I go to bed, I apply moisturizer. This weird routine works for me, I do notice a slight improvement in the look of my skin,it does look more hydrated. I have dry skin so anything that helps is welcome!

I really wanted this product to work...I read about it in a magazine with all of its promising results....unfortunately, what I experienced was very different...and always keep in mind that skin textures vary so what did not work for me may become your "Holy Grail." From my experience of using it alone, I found it to be slightly tacky or sticky...it did not hydrate anymore than my normal moisturizer under my makeup....I was looking for something to help with the dry tight feeling I get after wearing makeup for a few hours in the day....it did not alleviate that issue....also, I tried mixing as it said with my foundation....I combined it with several foundations I had and it actually watered down each of my makeup bases, changing the texture making it runny and not easy to apply even when using only a few drops...it has the consistency of water and you have to work quickly or it just runs through your fingers wasting a lot of the product....also, if you've ever used any liquid products that come in a bottle like this, if it is knocked over accidently by ones hand, hairdryer cord, etc., you will easily lose most of the contents....I will say that I did mix it with a tinted CC cream and it worked great...however, I wanted it for my foundations.....We each have different experiences and hopefully it will work for you if you try it....

I use this in conjunction with another hydrating serum, and it works really well. Absorbs pretty quickly and helps my super parched skin. I have to be careful of hydrating serums because I receive electrolysis treatments, and this is great because it focuses on deep moisturizization (is that a word?) and not just the outer layer/barrier of the skin.
