What it is: A hair scrub that exfoliates the scalp, removing dead skin cells and product buildup while rebalancing your pH levels.

What it does: Made with craft-produced apple cider vinegar, its antimicrobial properties gently remove the impurities from your hair. The fine grain and coarse grain pink Himalayan sea salt, renowned for its detoxifying qualities, work as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and product buildup from your scalp and hair follicle. It's also infused with avocado oil and aloe vera to soothe and calm the scalp, and is enhanced with color-locking technology to protect color treated hair.

How to use: Work product through your hands and fingers and massage into your scalp and roots. Rinse thoroughly.

Amazing for scalp buildup!

I'm absolutely loving this scalp scrub from dpHue! It's amazing for freshening up the scalp and removing buildup! My hair felt so much lighter and my scalp felt so clean. Plus my hair had great volume after use without even styling! It's very gentle but does a great job. The only downside is that the scent is disgusting, but that's expected with an ACV product and it's not like you need drops be sniffing it!

Not worth it

As another reviewer mentioned, he smell is overpowering and it is quite very difficult to get the product to your scalp ( I have hair to my shoulder blades). I also did not see any improvement to my itchy scalp so I switched to head and shoulders and that worked great.

Amazing for scalp buildup!

Getting your scalp extra clean

I recently got dpHue ACV scalp scrub since it seemed like an interesting product for extra cleansing. I have psoriasis on part of my face and scalp so I love the idea of a scalp scrub that also has natural ingredients. I wasn’t expecting the scrub to actually smell like ACV, but it does. Fortunately, after rinsing and using a moisturizing conditioner (since my hair is frizzy and dry), it didn’t linger. I liked the sensation I felt on my scalp while gently massaging the product in. Not only do I feel like it’s performing a deeper clean, but even more important for me I feel like it’s helping to slough away some of the scaly patches. Fortunately, this is a color safe product and does not alter my blond highlights. Overall, I feel like my scalp is cleaner and will continue to use so I don’t have as many scaly patches.

Love this for removing buildup!

My scalp is prone to getting greasy and feeling sticky so this has been a much welcomed addition! Love that the vinegar scent is light and mild. I found the scrub easy to use, rinses out completely. Did a great job removing buildup without being too harsh. Provided nice gentle exfoliation and helped with flakes. It left my scalp feeling clean and I definitely had more volume at my roots. I use it in place of shampoo every other week. Since my hair is long, I made sure to follow the suggested tip of flipping head over in shower and then apply to back of head and crown. Doing that helped make sure the scrub got on my scalp and didn’t dry out my hair. Also appreciate this is safe for color treated hair! I received this complimentary from dpHUE.

Excellent and necessary product.

This is my back up jar because I don't want to be with out it . I use to suffer from itchy scalp but since I started using this product I am free of itch , is a great exfoliator for the scalp. Who knew that scrub for the scalp is as necessary as a scrub for the face.

A must have!

I am a huge fan of scalp scrub. This scalp scrub is one of the best that I have tried so far. It cleanse the scalp very well and I feel it is so fresh. It has strong scent of apple cider but I didn’t mind it and I used a conditioner with a nice scent and my hair smelled really good and no scent of the apple cider. First time trying a product from this brand and sure will try more.
