Long story short - don’t buy this coat BUT you can always rely on Nordstrom for their customer support to come thru!!!! ❤️ Long story… Decided to purchase this coat for long lasting quality. That is not what you get - especially for the price. First few wears your kiddo will experience CONSTANT unsnapping of the hood, particularly when putting on their backpack. If you’re into having to snap a hood multiple times a day or chase down where you kid dropped it walking home from school - then perhaps this is the coat for you! 3 months of wear, the zipper stopper broke in half. That’s 3 months of wearing it 4-5x a week! As a boy mom, I am well versed in rotating coats, shoes and pants…don’t make a difference here! If you’re into having your kids zip jacket pull apart every time then bend, then this coat is for you! $240 and now I have to get the zipper replaced bc I am out of the return window. BONUS - felt that Nordstrom would like to know about the quality issues and the agent immediately credited me $25 to get the zipper replaced. DOUBLE BONUS said to keep the receipt if it costs more and they will make up the difference. Nordstrom customer service keeps me coming back.
