Double Knit Lantern Ankle Pants

So, the lantern is my favorite EF pant style — I own several in felted wool for the winter, but decided to try a ponte knit as a transition fabric. Oh, I am beyond joyful!!! We're in this wacky spring transition period when it's 45 degrees when I leave for work and 75 when I go home. Well, this pant is pure perfection! I can wear them dressed up with nice flats or more sporty with my Ecco Metropole Oslo derby shoes, a white long-sleeve tee, a dark-wash slim-fit denim jacket, and nice jewelry, and I am work-appropriate. This fabric moves with you, breathes, and is just super-comfortable. The weight of the fabric is substantial enough that I feel modestly covered, but not smothered. Nicely done! I'll need a second pair already. I mean, what if I want to bookend my week with the same pants styled differently? EF makes it easy to look pulled together and professional while still feeling completely comfortable. Thanks, EF!

Best pants! I have tried so many of the lantern style pants, and these fit the best! Look great. Pack well… no wrinkles in suitcase on overseas trip. Look polished enough to dress up a bit. I have these in bit( the alpine and the black. I don’t usually go for pants in colors like alpine, but the fit is so amazing that I bought these. Both the black and alpine are favorites. The cut of this particular lantern pant is very flattering… something about the pocket placement and the seams make them look very slimming on. (I had to go down one size to get the perfect fit. Eileen, please make these in ink or other neutrals next season!

I am obsessed with these pants. Perfect fit, premium material that is substantial but drapes perfectly, perfect inseam length for me (I'm 5'6") and just SO comfortable while also feeling put together. They are only my 2nd favorite pair of pants because the original-to-me version of this pant I bought a few years ago also included cargo pockets and I REALLLLLLY wish EF would bring these back into stock. The cargo style made this pant even more elevated, modern and cool.
