Cashmere Mist Deodorant & Antiperspirant

I must admit, I am a bit of a stinky person. I must rotate my deodorants because they stop working, even clinical strength. I used DonnaKaran deodorant and it worked and it continued to work, and it lasted forever. However, I was not crazy about the smell at all. First, it is very very strong. You cannot wear your own perfume with this, this is your perfume and you better like it. The smell evaporated a bit and became more bearable but it was a long time til that happened. It smells like something an old woman would wear, strong and sweet. )-:

i assumed i would love this based on its cult status; just look at the reviews! i bought both the small and large size; designer deodorant? well yes, i hate most of the drugstore scents. this is definitely more on the side of a deodorant, not so much an anti-perspirant. i don't sweat massively, but still my t-shirts would still be damp after about an hour. my problem with the product was two fold; it is seriously scented. so much so in fact that it definitely clashes with whatever fragrance you're wearing. i didn't really wear one for a greater part of 2 months because this was all you could smell; great if you love cashmere mist, not so much if you want to use your other perfumes in rotation. people can definitely smell it on you, so this plus something else is overload. my second issue was that maybe due to the perfume oils in the product most of my t-shirts ended up getting stained. i was using about 2 swipe per arm and all my t's had an oily residue that was really hard to get off. i didn't notice it until after i had already washed them and there was a grease that smelled of the deo. for me it was a big deal since most of my t's are james perse or alexander wang- not exactly wanting to replace them. so i ended up actually dreading using the larger one and returned it. the smaller one, i might add , when it came towards the end kind of just crumbled all over in a way no other deo has before (didn't stick together). maybe those who love this, just really love the scent?
