Doesn't work
I was totally influenced to buy this and was super excited to try it!! Looking back, it was actually hard to find non-sponsored reviews of this and as a real person who bought this with their own money, this just flat out doesn't work. As a bronzer, its cute and makes you look glowy which earns it one star. As far as the self tanning part, as soon as I wash my face, it is gone. There is literally no trace of it afterwards. It also has the self tanner smell- it doesn't last but its pretty noticeable when you first apply it. I'm disappointed because I love the idea and there was so much potential, but for what this was advertised for, this totally missed.

I wish it came in darker shades
I see what they’re going for in this product. I have a very love hate relationship with tanning products but this one actually helped me. I was washing my hair and noticed there was a tan line where my hats and hair usually cover my forehead but the rest of my face has been getting sun. So to me, it was a very noticeable difference and hopefully the camera caught it. The product feels very smooth and silky on the skin. Almost feels like makeup mixed with a skincare product. The pigment was noticeable on my skin and did have a very noticeable glow so if you’re into glow products that offer radiance then you definitely can add this to your stash. The shade is nice for my winter color but I’m African American so when I get darker it does just blend in which isn’t a bad thing but I do wish it came it darker shades

Poor Quality
Such an incredibly poor quality product. The sponge literally disintegrated as I was applying the product. Now all the remaining product is stuck and won't come out. Not sure if I can submit for a refund.

Wanted to love this but it gave me cystic pimples where it was applied and the self tan concept of this product is unfortunately non existent as once you wash your face the color is completely gone.

Makes a mess
The actual product does a great job of providing gradual color. The packaging is awful. You have to turn the neck to “open” to get product out. This can be tricky as it’s a smooth top. If you over squeeze, the product runs out and makes a mess. Then, you have to use a tissue to grip the neck again. Hopefully they can find a better package.

Hate the Packaging - Love the Product
First of all the formulation is incredible and ingenuity of a contour / self tan combo is genius. I’ve bought this product 3 times because I love it for those reasons. HOWEVER - the packaging is simply awful. The lock twist mechanism gets super messy and leaks. It’s very hard to control the amount of product you dispense which results in a lot of wasted product and mess. The sponge tip has torn after a month of use each time I’ve purchased. It would be so much better suited in a twist pen applicator (similar to the Maybelline age perfect rewind) or similar packaging. Dolce Glow - please fix the packaging and to justice for the amazing product!!
