Fragrance story: At the Haiphong market, tuberoses are wrapped together with jasmine and ylang-ylang in large canna leaves to be used as offerings. The scent of the tuberose brings to mind the sundown hour, when the white flowers stand out in the darkness of the wooden pagoda.

I bought this fragrance as a blind bye after reading many reviews. I have always been gourmand /oriental
devotee. I want to love the fragrance personally and I enjoy receiving compliments. This fragrance has completely changed my taste in perfume. It is a heady floral Yet it’s clean and feminine. Everytime I try a new fragrance that is not a vanilla based my husband never approves and it was love at first application for him. He cannot stop complementing me. And I have received countless compliments from men and women asking me what I’m wearing. I would highly recommend

Not the Do Son I remember
I used to wear this perfume around 8 years ago. Bought it again but sadly it doesnt last half as long as it used to. I dont smell it anymore by 1pm whereas I used to still smell it on me at the end of the day. Same with the same people who used to smell it on me, dont anymore. I thought i had purchased a fake bottle but it is authentic so thinking maybe the recipe has changed, sad as i loved the smell. Wish I went for a longer lasting parfum by Le Labo of Frederic Malle but I know for next time. Not worth the extra £ for the parfum as the longevity is no longer there

i prefer the EDP soooo much more. it's less in your face white flower and settles into a warm amber on my skin. i went to nordstrom and spritzed each on different wrists and this one is a lot more 'skin scented' like diptyques fragrances tend to be. the entire reason why i'm devout to the brand lol. I purchase the explore pack to find my fave scents: philosykos, eau rose, eau de peau and now doson are all part of my collection. I invested in the shower oil and spraying this when i'm done has been a game changer for my morning showers before work!

only buy the parfum!
Absolutely love this French perfume! It’s feminine, floral and the staying power is unparalleled.
Initially I received a toilette sample of Do Son as part of the anniversary sale and immediately fell in love with the fragrance. As much as I loved it though, I knew I needed the parfum for staying power. The toilette does not last as long. Yes, the parfum is pricey but you only need a few spritzes and it lasts all day long. Love, love and LOVE it!

Beautiful Scent
Bought this as a gift for myself, and I always get compliments for it !!! My co workers literally went and purchased the perfume right after smelling it on me. It’s a very lovely jasmine scent that lingers on the skin for a while, so definitely worth its price, I love the whole Diptyque range!
