What it is: A limited-edition eau de parfum that reveals a completely new dimension of the rose that is more faceted and exuberant.
Fragrance story: In this composition, extracts and absolutes of damascena and centifolia roses amplify the flowers' intensity. Firad rose essence is added to this duo and has astonishing fruity accents of litchi and unexpected yet naturally present notes, including honeyed accents of chamomile and a singular, green vegetal accord of artichoke. Firad rose is a rose extract obtained by upcycling the floral water that remains after an initial extraction of the flower. The process reveals all the olfactory subtleties of the rose, particularly its fruity nuances of litchi.

Beautiful!
I much prefer this to the Eau Rose EDT. This is a very lovely and long lasting scent. After 14 hours, it's still going strong. I really really love the dry down. There is no harshness in this, smooth from opening to dry down. I'm not going to knock a star, but mine had a leak upon receipt. I am reordering a replacement.

The original is better
The original eau Rose is better, although still not my favourite out of the bunch from Diptyque. This new edition wears you down by being very dreary and foggy. Nothing like the smell of fresh roses. Faintly smelling of mildew. Yikes. I think Diptyque has more edge when it comes to multi-layered scent instead of a single layer scent like this one.

Disappointed
Sadly I am returning. I’ve worn the original for years. If you’re looking for something that you think is going to just be a longer lasting version… This is not it. They’ve done something to it that has a hint of the original in it but it takes on something entirely different. It’s not bad ..but for people that like the original you’re going too long for it after smelling this.I agree with a previous review that said there’s something almost musty or sour about it. I just re-ordered the original and will ship thus back tomorrow.I’m just appointed because I was excited! Pretty package though

Captivating and unique
I’ve used all possible rose fragrances as it is my favorite flower. This perfume really stands out in its unique and mesmerizing smell. Looking forward to trying other fragrances from this brand.

A really nice rose scent but nothing more
This fragrance is a really nice rose scent if that's what you like - however for it it didn't really feel any different to their original rose fragrance. It felt slightly deeper but this I attribute to it being an EDP and actually on the skin it smells much the same. It has decent staying power but I'm not sure that for the price this is the best fragrance out there.

Obsessed with this scent
From the candle to the hair spray and now perfume, I cant not buy it. It’s so luxurious and lingers for such a long time without being overpowering. You don’t need to overspray and I always feel like I can smell it throughout the day. Feels like luxury and always get comments on how nice I smell.

Meh
I received a sample of this from Diptyque. I don't like the original eau roses anyway as I find it cloying and unpleasant, so was hoping this would be a bit richer and better in fragrance. It is slightly heavier in scent in terms of having a more herbaceous fragrance in addition to the rose note, but overall, it was just alright.
