Awesome!
This is the ONE thing I refuse to live without! I have gotten MORE compliments on the length and volume of my eyelashes! When I DON'T wear it to work....people ask if I am sick......they can tell in my eyes. I AM NOT SICK, I just ran out of the greatest mascara EVER!!!

Decent.. until it dries out after 5 days.
This mascara is pretty okay, not the best, but decent, until it dries out in less than one week and is unusable. All I can say is that if you have not tried this, but you just "have to", make sure you buy it at Nordstrom and not somewhere that you can't return it.
One of the problems is the huge tube. Dior is obsessed with huge tubes that allow a lot of space for air to get in and dry out their mascaras. The formulas are usually also extremely mousse-like, so the volume of the product as listed on the packaging is not equivalent to another mascara of the same volume per unit, because the Dior ones are full of air. So the formula is full of air, and the tube gets full of air.. you get the point.
The brush is also only really appropriate for people with short lashes. If you have fine, medium to long lashes, the brush will not do anything for you. It will not lift them, it will not separate or coat them much at all. The huge useless brush is probably the main reason the tube has to be so large, and both of those were bad ideas when they created this.
Don't buy into the hype that Dior creates by paying beauty magazines to feature their mascaras, in case you didn't know how that works. I love beauty magazines, but I make my own judgement and if something is terrible, it's terrible. From a makeup artist's perspective I can tell you that the quality is just not there, at least not when it comes to their mascaras, and there are a million better ones in your Nordstrom beauty department.

Panda eyes meets tar brush
I was excited to use this product after good reviews. I was sorely disappointed. The product becomes flaky and "globby" after a short period of use, resulting in uneven application to lashes (despite being careful not to push air into the tube when replacing the brush). By the end of the day the mascara has deposited itself under my eyes leaving dark smudgy rings. Try Dior Extase instead! It is a far superior product

The Best
This mascara has been my go-to for about two years now. I havent found anything that comes close to it - blackout makes my eyelashes look amazing. The balance between lengthening and thickening is perfect, and I personally prefer it over the classic diorshow, as it has less clumping but the same thickening ability, and much better lengthening. Not to mention the beautiful inky black pigment!

Best Mascara
This is my favorite mascara - I was a Lancome counter manager and know they win all the awards, but Christian Dior is the best out there by far. If you can only get one, go for the Black Out - it does it all. I like to layer the Iconic on first then go over it with the Black Out and get compliments on my lashes all the time. You won't be sorry if you try it!

Dark and dramatic
I have been using this mascara for close to a decade. Although I would prefer a slimmer brush, the quality of the mascara itself is undeniable. It thickens and defines very well while staying put throughout the day. I highly recommend it!
