I was in the market for a pretty red lipstick and looked at almost every brand. It was a busy day at Nordstroms so I was finding it difficult to get the attention of a Sales Associate. Due to this delay, I wandered to the Dior counter which is not a usual stop for me. I do use makeup products from many different lines so I'm always open to finding the next best thing. By the time I had reached the Dior counter I had tried on a handful of reds which all seemed to look about the same, a little too dark and dramatic, just too much. My complexion is pretty fair so color seems to go a long way for me. Yet I still wanted to find a pretty, bright, fresh punch of red. So, I tried this lipstick in "Fireworks" really with the intention to waste a few minutes. However, to my surprise, I was blown away by this lipstick! It had great pigment and the right amount of shine and was very soft, smooth, non-drying in texture. I ended up buying Fireworks and a new color called New Look. The staying power and soft texture continues to amaze me. I'm so excited to have stumbled upon this lipstick. Will definitely be purchasing other colors!
