Innovative Seat
We bought this seat for our 7 year old. We needed a booster seat that was safe and easy to transfer between cars. I like that this seat was sleek and also has the option of expanding in width to accommodate growing kids. This seat fits well in my third row of my Chevy Tahoe. Getting some high back booster seats into the third row is tight, but not with this seat. We haven't had any problems with the latch release, and regularly switch it from our car to our nanny's car. Overall great seat that will carry us through to our other kiddos.

Failed after 6 months
Bought this because it appeared to be made for travel. Used it on and off for six months before we went on vacation. Once it was latched in the car, we could not remove it because the lever to disengage the latch failed. Called Diono for support and they told us to send the car seat (which we couldn't because it was stuck in a rental car in Hawaii) and that unless we could send them the car seat (which we couldn't because it was stuck in a car in a different state) they would not help us. Best $275 I've thrown away. Very disappointing that this is how Diono treats consumers. Also not surprised it failed given that the lever to unlock the latch was cheaply made.

Horrible product, horrible service! Not sure if I received a bad batch or the product itself is Poorly executed, when trying to install the car the latch in the back of seat would not come out in order to attach to car. Spoke with customer service of the company and they said that this car seat would not work very well with Mazda’s or any car that the backseat is not a flat surface. Very disappointed

Believe the bad reviews :(
We purchased this booster specifically for travel because I wanted a high back booster for safety reasons, and there aren't that many on the market that fold up. I was super excited when Diono released these since we have a Diono car seat that we've been pleased with. Well, after our 2nd use, the latch is impossible to eject when installing. I've tried doing it with two hands, and it's not possible. I wrote Diono customer service, and their suggestion was to use a wooden or metal spoon to help to eject. There is no way that is a realistic solution every time we want to use this for travel. I am so disappointed because the idea of this is great, but execution is a flop. I hope they make some changes before their excellent reputation gets ruined by this faulty product.

Great Design!
This car seat is such a cool design and is easy to install. It has a spring in the latch system so it fits tightly to the back of the seat and feels very secure when fitted in my Tesla Model Y.
I had a booster seat before this which felt light and unsafe in comparison to this diono seat. The expandable sides and headrest are awesome and gives a good amount of space in the seat. The only downside is that you can't fold the seat with the cup holder, maybe this is an upgrade diono can work on. Overall it's a great car seat!

Great Car Seat
Before buying it here I checked all reviews on Diono’s website and they convinced me to make a purchase. I do enjoy using the seat. Installation was painless.
