Relaxed Fit Carpenter Pants

I LOVE these pants; the material's weight, body fit, & color are great. I now 'need' a pair in olive & red. Best thing? They are JUNIORS (making this middle aged woman absolutely giggle w/joy)! I'm curvaceous (raised on a steady diet of rice & beans) as well as being on the shorter side, so finding jeans/pants that flatter me can be tricky & time consuming. To complicate things more, I've become about 20#s overweight. Oh yeah, and this COVID outbreak reduces the joy of physical shopping to a millennial tech App experience. Trying on clothes for fit is an impossibility (as hassle-free as Retailers make it - it's still a shopping FAIL). Luckily, all my years & experience "physically" shopping have enabled me to know the styles, fabrics, and cuts that flatter my body - regardless of the totally non-standardized, devilish conspiracy of manufacturer sizing. (Young ladies will not know of this which I speak - I too was once a size 6-8 and EVERYTHING I tried fit as if made for me). Extrapolation and detailed reviews by such as You, reading this now, enable me to compensate for weight gain. So...I'm 5'-3&1/2", 164#s, no longer a size 10 (20#s ago) now a 12, equipped with a bubble but, still perfect calves, and thighs alluding to the aforementioned weight gain. Birthing hips (as a doc viewing spine x-ray told the shocked mother of this once adolescent teen). As mentioned, these pants are Junior sizing (woo-hoo! says this 47 YO) - 13x31 fit perfectly; no squeezing, pulling, crushing anywhere. Rise not too high for my shorter torso, yet perfect to erase any existence of dreaded muffin top button squeeze. My belly could be flat for all you know from the fit. Not tight at butt nor thighs (no wrinkling or creasing); not baggy either. Length: barefoot a tad long; perfect length for any hint of a wedge or heel. Love the loops & pockets!
