Diamond Quilted Hooded Coat

I thought this would be a nice coat for travel. Warm, but light and packable. It was very tight in the arms & would not close across my chest. I could have sized up but the giant logo on the sleeve was a hard no.

Was more boxy and oversized than I was expecting, but the quality of the coat is good and I think it will keep me warm. The bottom of the jacket is particularly wide the snap closures on the side are a little strange, but I like the color enough I may keep it.

This coat is better than pictured! The cut is very flattering. I am 5’8” and 160 lbs and the Med is just right. Can’t wait for fall weather so I can wear it!

I have owned several Lauren Ralph Lauren jackets and coats. I wear my LRL quilted jacket a lot in the spring and fall, so I was interested in a longer option. I ordered my usual size Large in the Black. Great length and a relaxed fit to accommodate layers. I really wish this coat had the same drawcord waist as my shorter jacket, which would give a more flattering shape.

I like that this jacket is simple. Easy snaps, lightweight, not fussy. Detachable hood is a huge plus. The weight is on the lighter side which should be good for the fall months but maybe not enough when it gets below zero. According to the size chart, I was a M but I sized up to a L for extra sleeve length and roominess for sweaters or sweatshirts. It’s comfortable without looking sloppy. I really like the dark brown contrast trim on the navy color, something different than basic black. Oh, and the inside lining has an interesting equestrian print for a little suprise.

Coat fits perfect not too tight and not too big.
