Diamond Leather Hobo

I have been looking for a black handbag that is functional and not too flashy. I have several bags that are more casual, pebbled leather, light stitching, slouchy, but I wanted something a little dressier. A couple of months ago I bought a beautiful black glossy black leather (not patent) Chloe continental wallet and really wanted something to match or complement that minimalist and dark black look. I am not a "labels" person; I believe class speaks for itself. I am also not either a spendthrift or a big spender-somewhere in the middle. This bag, at this price point, surprisingly hits both marks. The dimensions are about 10.5 " tall, and at the bottom-most; 14 " wide. Strap drop minimum is 12"; max around 20", and you'll see it in the photos, which means this can be a very comfortable shoulder bag but also as a very good cross-body with the wide, but not too wide single strap. It also has suede lining which keeps it from slipping off your shoulder if worn in the shoulder mode. The suede lining theme continues inside, although I'm a little disappointed in the rather small single pocket (not zippered) and the lack of a key fob chain. I also appreciate the lack of lots of tacky metal detailing which would only add to the somewhat heavy weight of the bag itself. The shape of the bag molds to my small frame and feels very natural to hold. It's a streamlined "bucket" sort of bag. This bag is large enough to carry my 8 x 4 makeup case; 3 x 5 toiletry case (which you need because of the lack of pockets) eye glasses case, pocket calendar, house and car keys and 2 EarPods, plus room for more. I could easily drop in a 16 oz water bottle and maybe a couple of candies. Overall I consider this bag a good value, and classy without screaming for attention. You'll know it when you see it.
