large on the chest and straps

Love the dress, but does run large on the chest and the straps are too long. I got my usual size and I could have sized down but it took a while to ship so didn’t have time to wait for a smaller size. I had to get the straps altered otherwise they would fall off. I also have a big chest so was surprised on the loose fit in the upper body. Otherwise a beautiful dress, very flattering and not overly fitted on the stomach area.
