Cat Eye Strapless Cocktail Minidress

I ordered this dress twice. First time I ordered in a size 4 and it was too big though it arrived perfectly packaged from the brand name. I reordered sizing down to a size 2. It arrived smooshed in an absolutely small Nordstrom box without a cover for the dress. Someone just stuffed it inside the box so I was frustrated. I tried it on, it fit, though the breast area was a bit loose. Upon closer inspection, seams in the zipper were loose. Snags on the threading on the front and sides of the dress. Then I saw that someone tried to take out the seams in the breast area of the dress and zipper area of the dress. By the time I received this dress, I was in a time crunch for a wedding. There was no quality control from Nordstrom because the dress should not have been sent to me the way it had… string hanging, seams missing especially for $300. I went in person to discuss and the Nordstrom employee tried to push back at the designer however this dress arrived from Nordstrom this way. The first dress ordered (size 4) arrived perfectly from the designer- packed beautifully and no damaged dress. Size 2 was damaged and shoved in a tiny box from Nordstrom. Shady. Someone definitely tried to fit the dress for themselves and return it and now I’m stuck with a dress. They have me a small discount but that doesn’t fix the quality nor the dry cleaning. Shame on Nordstrom. I expected better service and quality.
