Desert Dawn Eau de Parfum

Please remember that fragrance reviews are very personal, as the experience does depend on how it interacts with individual skin chemistry. The opening reminded me a little of Debaser a - green milky fig note - cardamom and rose petals the notes say, but neither of us can find either of them. I find this part attractive but it very quickly slips into indeterminate vague woods instead - we are talking bland woods not blonde woods sadly. This was joined later by some sweet-ish wispy clean musk to make a nice enough, inoffensive but not every interesting melange of synthetic woods and laundry musk. The most interesting part was the opening for both my partner and I, but this was sadly brief. If you prefer a fragrance that does not have a strong personality, and would like to be enveloped in a sort of fluffy cloud of nothing very much, then this may be for you. It wasn't for either of us, and especially not at this exclusive niche price.

Beautiful name and I have imagined amazing scent of fire hot desert, with notes of old and dry woods and maybe some lightly sweet dates. Not happening here. For byredo this scent is very generic, for me. I feel like this is nothing special, very mainstream scent and very week scent. You can count minutes and the scent will be gone. Maybe for someone that really like skin scents, but this one is expensive.
