kakadu C™ 20% Vitamin C Serum with Feurlic Acid & Vitamin C

I tried a sample from Sephora of this because the local Nordstrom doesn't carry Dermadoctor. I had read that the serum contained 20% vitamin C which is higher than alot of the similar products offered at that price point. I have been using Kiehls Vitamin C formula which is very good but I was felt my results had plateaued. I was impressed enough with the results from about a week's worth to go ahead and order the product. My skin tone definitely improved and I had more of a glow. My skin felt very soft to the touch and no irritation to speak of. The serum itself felt fine; just a few drops suffice. If you use more than 5 drops it might feel a bit sticky but then you are using too much anyways. People who have sensitive skin should try a lower percent Vitamin C before trying something like this . This should be considered extra strength and I would recommend trying a sample beforehand.

I received this as a sample and after one use my skin glowed:) I didn't even look tired and had only slept 5 hours the night before!

I purchased this before a trip to an intensely sunny climate. Put it on each morning under high spf. It worked wonderfully to help keep spots away & keep skin glowing. I'm sold & this is my new brand. It has done much good for my skin over the last 3 weeks!

So far I haven't had a bad reaction to this product but it does make my face very red after applying it. I am not getting the burning that others have complained of but it has only been two weeks of use so far. I do, however, have a complaint about the texture and odor. It seems sticky even after rubbing it in and letting it dry. And the smell is almost a sarsaparilla or root beer aroma. Very odd. I have used other products from other vendors that have worked wonders for my skin and made it look beautiful. I have yet to see that result with this product. It seems to be taking a bit longer for my skin to get used to it. I would really only give it 2 1/2 stars but that's not an option here. So far, I'm simply indifferent to it. Not impressed, but still willing to give it a chance to work its magic.

I’ve used it day and night on my face and around eyes. By end of two weeks, I felt pain while applied it, then found out red spots under my eye brows and on side of my neck. I kept using it for a couple of days, and my skin got worse. I’ve never had allege to any skin care products, but this one is definitely not for me. I might be using too much (10+ drops for face, neck and chest) I switched back to my old skin care products and I’m a few days, my skin was back to flawless look. Guess it must work for some people, the stronger formulae is, the stronger side effect could be( like me )
