Denim Midi Skirt

Length was good but this was not a 10. The waist didn't even measure 30", which is the standard denim measurement for a size 10. (Waist measured just 28.5".) Zipper was flimsy too. Not sure if this was bad piece or if this is normal for this brand. That's the challenge with not having items in store to try on and having to order and then return 30-50% of my purchases. Skirt was really cute, bummed.

All this in a midi length denim skirt with a beautiful medium dark wash. Appropriate for any casual occasion and can be dressed up a little or worn very relaxed. I'm liking my denim with not a lot of stretch these days, and this piece gets the ratio right. It's so good. I will say that the hips are a little narrow on me, but that's where the stretch serves well. The only thing that would make this better is if it had that asymmetric seam at the front split rather than a straight one, but that's a minor detail. I am loving the skirt and can't wait to do more outfits with it all year!
