Denim Graphic Shorts

5'6". bought size L, typically wear an American size 10-12 on bottoms depending on brand. athletic thighs and I carry weight in my lower stomach. I was a little nervous about buying shorts that were denim and cut like an athletic short, and had a star pattern on them to boot. However I was more than surprised! The denim quality is thick and heavy, but still breathes because the shorts are cut like an athletic short. The waistband is comfortable, and doesn't roll, and while there is a drawstring available, I didn't need to use it. I've worn these with a plain black tee, plain grey, and I think they would look good with another neutral color. I would absolutely buy these again in a traditional dark denim color or without the star pattern.
