If you want it to look oversized, size up. I’m usually a XS or S in madewell. For reference, 5’2, 112lb, size 2-4 in pants and a 32C. The S was short, almost cropped looking. The M & L laid on top of each other looked identical but the large was a bit slouchier once it was on. I purchased an XL to see if the L is a keeper or if the XL is going to give me to baggy oversized bomber type look.
And influencer I follow said she bought an XL and I giggled but, she was spot on. Keep that in mind when purchasing because it’s also 100% cotton.

Fun and different denim jacket
I'm so glad I found this jacket. I love that it's a different take on the typical denim jacket. It's comfortable and super versatile. I can't wait to wear it all spring and summer. I'm ususally a small or medium and I went for the small on this jacket, the medium was a little too boxy on me.
